For this internship as a student you don’t need to pay anything. It’s our vision to contribute to industry-academia gap, which we have been doing for the past 17+ years in various channels.

The entire internship program is done via Emertxe’s online / digital ecosystem. This means you will be using virtual conferencing tools, chat ecosystem, online submission tools etc…to do your internship. Hence, a good laptop / PC with stable internet connectivity is mandatory for this program.

Project FAQs

The MERN stack is a popular stack that is widely used in the industry. You will learn the skills necessary to build web applications using this stack. This will include learning how to work with MongoDB, a popular NoSQL database, Express.js, a back-end web application framework, React, a front-end JavaScript library, and Node.js, a JavaScript runtime.

In addition to learning the MERN stack, you will also learn foundational computer science skills. These skills will include understanding the principles of algorithms and data structures, which are essential for understanding how to write efficient and effective code. This knowledge will also help you to understand how to solve complex problems, which is a critical skill in the field of software development.

You will also learn how to use the software development life cycle (SDLC) process to build a real-time project. The SDLC is a set of best practices for software development that includes various stages such as planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. Understanding the SDLC process will help you to understand how to plan and manage a software development project from start to finish.

Overall, this internship will give you a comprehensive understanding of the MERN stack and software development process. You’ll gain hands-on experience building real-world projects using industry-standard tools and techniques, and will be well-prepared to work as a web developer and able to handle real-world projects.

The internship program offered by WSA is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience for students interested in web development. The program begins by ramping up students in the MERN stack, which is a collection of technologies used for building web applications. This includes technologies such as MongoDB, ExpressJS, ReactJS, and NodeJS. The program is designed to be hands-on, so students will be given the opportunity to work with these technologies and build projects from scratch.

Once students have a solid foundation in the MERN stack, they will be given projects to work on. These projects are designed to be challenging and will require students to use the skills they have learned to build real-world applications. Throughout the projects, students will be mentored by experienced mentors who will provide guidance and support. The goal of these projects is to not only help students build their skills but also to give them a sense of what it’s like to work on real-world projects. The program is designed to help students develop not just the technical skills but also soft skills like problem solving, time management, teamwork and communication skills. This will help you to be industry ready.

Our mentors have a list of projects in the areas of E-commerce, FinTech, EdTech, Healthcare, and Consumer. They will pick a project depending on the internship cohort and assign it to you.

The mentors at WSA have a wide range of projects available in various industry domains such as E-commerce, FinTech, EdTech, Healthcare, and Consumer. They carefully select projects that align with the interests and skills of the current internship cohort. This ensures that students are working on projects that are relevant and engaging to them.

The projects in these domains will give you hands-on experience in developing web applications that are widely used in today’s industry. For example, if you are assigned to an e-commerce project, you will learn how to build a web application that allows users to browse and purchase products online.

Working on these projects will provide you with an opportunity to apply the skills you have learned in the program and gain experience working on real-world projects. The mentors will provide guidance and support throughout the projects, helping you to navigate any challenges that may arise. The projects will also give you the opportunity to showcase your skills and knowledge to potential employers and help you in your career transition.
